Fair Work Legislation Amendment Closing Loopholes Bill 2023

The Fair Work Legislation Amendment (Closing Loopholes) Bill 2023 represents the third tranche of changes to the Fair Work Act 2009 (FWA) and the workplace relations regulatory framework. Businesses, particularly small businesses are feeling crushed by the weight of regulatory change. In particular, businesses in the residential building industry are just starting to turn a corner after the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic begin to dissipate; now is not the time for further disruption via complex regulatory changes that simply add a layer of uncertainty to running a business and employing staff.
