As a consumer, you are entitled to the benefit of statutory consumer guarantees in respect of items purchased from HIA. In accordance with Australian Consumer Law, if the item has a major failure, you may reject the item and seek a refund or exchange, or you may keep the item and seek compensation for any drop in the value of the product.
You are also entitled to have the item repaired or replaced if the item fails to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
All claims for refund or exchange must be made within 14 days of the receipt of the item.
We will refund using your original payment method. If you are returning or exchanging a faulty, damaged or incorrect item we will pay for the packaging and postage costs (not exceeding the original cost of postage by HIA to you). Items purchased online may be returned or posted to the nearest HIA office.
Please retain proof of purchase and provide a copy with any returned item. HIA will not normally offer a refund or exchange if you simply change your mind.
We can deliver your HIA contract, merchandise or product from our shop to anywhere across Australia.
