ABCB sanitary facilities calculator

Do you need to work out the number of sanitary facilities you must design and provide for in Class 2–9 buildings? The Australian Building Codes Board’s (ABCB) Sanitary Facilities Calculator can assist you.
{{ tag.label }} {{ tag.label }} $vuetify.icons.faTimes

The Sanitary Facilities Calculator can be used to determine the facilities you require, including installations for showers, baths, urinals and wash basins. It can also help calculate the number of accessible unisex facilities you need to provide.

This resource contains a link to the Sanitary Facilities Calculator on the ABCB website and instructions on how to use the Calculator. Simply select the building classification, enter the number of occupants the building is designed for and use the results to determine the number of sanitary and other facilities required.

Inputting the number of building levels and banks of toilets will also determine the number of accessible unisex sanitary facilities that need to be installed.
