HIA Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards provide home builders and designers the opportunity to receive recognition, and showcase their work to the broader industry. Winners and finalists not only receive extensive media promotion for their business, they also get the opportunity to promote themselves as an industry leader.

||Dates will vary dependent on the region
Your project price must reflect the entire cost of the project as viewed by the judges and determines which price category your project fits into (where applicable). This is inclusive of your contract price + variations + all works supplied or carried out by owner/others and must include GST, site works, all extras, final PC and provisional sum adjustments. Do not include land price, landscaping/pools where they do not form a structural component of the home, and the cost of removable appliances, for example: fridges and microwaves.
Kitchen and bathroom entries must include all prime cost items, for example: installation, cabinets, splashbacks, fixtures and fittings; bench-tops and trades.

Entry fees do not include tickets to the Housing Awards presentation.
As we navigate the uncertainties surrounding COVID-19, HIA is monitoring the latest advice to ensure a safe environment for judges, homeowners and entrants. While on-site judging would normally take place during July to September, we may need to change the way we judge this year. We will be in contact with each entrant to advise of the arrangements. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide details to the home owner.

Practical completion changes
Due to the extension of entry date for 2020, HIA will accept all projects with a practical completion date between 30 April 2018 and 30 June 2020.
