At first glance, the combination of soft curves, blush hues, and striking tile selection creates an unexpectedly playful atmosphere. But beyond, the whimsical layering of materials, repetition of elements and variety of textures is both sublime and thoughtful.
The highly functional bathroom has abundant natural light, ample storage, and privacy for a relaxing bathing experience. Underfloor heating and considered lighting enhance the atmosphere. The walk-in shower is concealed behind a curved wall, providing a secluded and luxurious space to unwind. A circular skylight replaces a street-facing window, maximising natural light and maintaining privacy. Judges observed the complex design is perfectly executed, making this a memorable and inviting space.
