2022 HIA Australian Bathroom Design

Archertec Interiors is congratulated for a spacious and inviting open-plan bathroom that is modern and elegant.
The bathroom was named the HIA Australian Bathroom Design winner, announced at the 2022 HIA–CSR Australian Housing Awards on 23 April.
Modern and elegant, this open-plan bathroom is spacious and inviting. Central to the main home, it flows beautifully from the adjoining bedroom. Connecting the two spaces is a double-sided fireplace, creating a level of luxury. Angled from the fireplace is a freestanding bath, with a low timber bench seat that runs across the back of the room to the vanity, providing comfort and storage.
Opposite, is a large triple shower and separate toilet room screened with glass. Brushed gold tapware and accessories work harmoniously with the warm timber joinery, providing a contemporary combination. Judges noted that the contrasting lineal and organic elements demonstrated a considered design resolution and quality craftsmanship.
The HIA Australian Bathroom Design award partnered by Dulux recognises excellence in the design of a new or renovated bathroom project.
