This home, created for an artist, was designed to showcase the owner's home ceramic studio, and the beauty of their work, through the use of floor-to-ceiling windows. Black framed glazing draws attention to the owner's artwork while also creating a contrast to the light coloured façade. A feature stone wall at the entrance cleverly blends the garage and adds artistry to the design. Inside, the raised ceiling heights create a sense of light and space. The strategically placed entry cabinet and kitchen create a clear division between the ceramic studio and private living areas of the home.
