Manufactured and supplied by Neumann Steel, NuPod is a revolutionary method of creating concrete slabs. The key to NuPod is its patented built-in interlocking spacers, which enables rapid deployment of pods while creating a stable system locked together. Individual pods can be broken down into various sizes to allow for services.
NuPod is produced using 100 per cent Australian recycled plastic, and removes the need for polystyrene.
The NuPod system allows for accurate material estimations, providing the tool for reverse engineering in the house footprint to reduce steel and concrete waste. Its stacking feature allows it to be delivered with steel on one truck, which reduces exhaust emissions by 60 per cent. No waste collection is required, again resulting in another reduction in exhaust emissions.
The NuPod slab system has a higher rated R-value than both conventional slabs and waffle pod slabs. This increases the homeowner’s insulation and therefore reduces the need for heating in winter and cooling in summer.
