This award recognises excellence in the construction and design of a residential building or other accommodation project tailored to meet the specific housing needs of an individual or group, over and above the minimum applicable regulatory requirements. Examples may include aged persons dwellings, retirement villages, accommodation for people with disabilities, accessible, adaptable, liveable or universal design housing, student accommodation, or similar.
