Judging criteria
Projects will be judged according to:

Notes:
- The product must be placed on the Australian market within the 24 months prior to the closing date of entries.
- Entrants must provide details on the level of Australian content in their product.
- The entry must describe the company’s role in the manufacturing of this product and bringing the product to market. If you do not manufacture the product, but are a distributor, you need written consent from the manufacturer agreeing to you submitting the product in HIA Awards. In this instance the manufacturer will not be a joint entrant unless stated in the joint entrant field on the entry.
- Entries must be supported by information addressing the design features, the degree of originality and the benefits and application of the product in the housing industry. There is no word limit.

Entries are submitted into the regional awards based on the geographical location of each project:
Hunter Awards
Projects in the HIA-CSR Hunter Housing Awards must be located in postcodes 2250 to 2428 (excluding 2339 - 2348, 2350 - 2361, 2365, 2369 - 2372, 2379 - 2382, 2386 - 2390, 2395, 2396 - 2411, 2424, 2426, 2427).
