This award recognises excellence in the construction and design of a dwelling or multiple dwellings built on-site with unique or difficult conditions such as extreme slope (a minimum gradient of 1 in 6) or onsite constraints such as significant trees, protected areas, flood prone areas, or bushfire requirements (BAL-40 or BAL-FZ).
