Winner: Old Lake Joinery
The brief called for an existing shop front to be split into two. The white, understated, yet highly pragmatic, storage joinery cupboards were to give the illusion that it was 'just another wall' lining the hallway, so that the real feature was the pre-finished decorative timber-look battens, could stand in all their glory. All of the cabinetry and panelling was in proportion, curved and perfectly lined up. Detail was just spot on. Huge amount of storage along the hallway and under the seats. Easily accessible features and cabinetry. A massive project and very worthy of an award.
