HIA Kitchen & Bathroom Awards recognise excellence in the construction and quality of workmanship, installation and design of kitchens and bathrooms.
The Awards acknowledge the talents of manufacturers, designers and installers to plan safe, functional and personalised spaces which incorporate quality, innovation and aesthetically pleasing solutions.
Entries are now closed for 2025.
Judging
Judging of entries will take place on-site from June to August. HIA Staff will contact each entrant to provide a judging date and time. A representative must meet the judges onsite. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide details of the inspections to the home owner.
The onsite representative must be the builder or project manager responsible for the project. The judges’ decisions are final, and correspondence will not be entered into. Judges reserve the right to reclassify entries.
Award categories
Bathroom Design
This award recognises excellence in the design of a renovated or new bathroom in a residential building.
Bathroom of the Year
This award recognises excellence in the construction and design of a bathroom in a residential building.
Kitchen Design
This award recognises excellence in the design of a renovated or new kitchen in a residential building.
Kitchen of the Year
This award recognises excellence in the construction and design of a kitchen in a residential building.
Laundry
This award recognises excellence in the design, manufacture, installation and project coordination of a new or renovated laundry in a single dwelling.
Outdoor Kitchen
This award recognises excellence in the construction and design of an outdoor living space which incorporates cooking facilities and addresses the unique challenges of construction in an outdoor (unenclosed) environment.
HIA Northern Victoria Regional Housing Awards
Award evenings are enjoyable events, mixing great food and entertainment with recognition of the Award winners.
