Kitchen Design

This showstopping kitchen embodies enduring and timeless design. Focusing on function - bench space, storage solutions, and accessibility were primary considerations during the planning. The galley-style kitchen with floor-to-ceiling joinery conceals appliances and drinks cabinet behind pocket doors and access to the toilet and scullery. The bench design allowed a large circular breakfast bar with a Lazy Susan at the end. There is a distinct line through the space, where the intersection of materiality and design detail meet. Colour was an important element, with the use of contrasting wood veneer and quartzite, creating a balance and focal point in the room. The result is contemporary and refined.
