The judges congratulated the builders of this Coburg home for its environmental achievements and superb craftsmanship. The rammed earth facade and ironbark cladding complement the surrounding landscape. Designed to operate fossil fuel free, the home’s features include rooftop solar panels with battery storage, 10,000 litres of rainwater storage and sustainably-sourced materials designed to be reused at the end of the building's life.
