This Fitzroy project converted a 144-year-old bluestone church into seven stunning residences. An innovative multi-level light well, the extensive nature of the works, and the care and attention to detail with which they were undertaken, were of particular note to the judges.
Original materials have been sympathetically restored and recycled. The design makes impressive use of vast open spaces and the quality of the finishes is outstanding. This renovation is also one part of a larger Apartment Complex project that also won an award in its category.
