Home of the Year

HIA-CSR Victorian Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards

Winner: BCG Constructions

Achieving a sense of 'sophisticated luxury' was the goal for this contemporary five-level Toorak home, and the builder has absolutely delivered. A triple-height void runs through the centre of the home, providing a sense of connectedness, and also space for a nine-by-nine metre internal waterfall. Highest quality materials, fixtures and fittings are used throughout, and exceptional craftsmanship is on display at every turn. This home boasts many standout areas, from the basement cinema, wine cellar and whiskey bar, to the top floor entertainment space with a bar, indoor pool with retractable roof above, sauna and outdoor cooking area. The home has no painted surfaces - every surface is a finished product or application. This is just one of the many examples of the builder's expertise and attention to detail which greatly impressed the judges, and led to the home's selection as the 2022 HIA-CSR Victorian Home of the Year.
