Join us at our HIA Townsville Building Women Luncheon aimed at women involved in or associated with the construction industry, including builders, suppliers, tradeswomen, interior designers, and subcontractors. This event offers a unique opportunity for women to connect, whether they work directly in construction or own a residential or commercial business. It is designed to support and celebrate the contributions of women currently in the industry, while also encouraging more women to join. The event serves as a platform to elevate the profile of women in construction and promote excellence within the field!

Speaker

Lisa Clarke

Co-Chair of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) in Townsville

Lisa holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil), completed in Brisbane 2011. With over 17 years of experience on the contractor side of the construction industry, Lisa has developed a strong background in construction, design, and tendering. 
She has contributed to a diverse range of projects across the Defence, Health, Correctional, Education, and Water sectors. Throughout her career, Lisa has lived and worked in Brisbane, Darwin, and Townsville, and has been involved in projects across Australia. She relocated to Townsville 10 years ago and is currently engaged in Defence projects both locally and nationally, specialising in design management, quality management, and tendering.

In 2023, she helped establish the North Queensland committee to provide increased support and connection for women in the construction industry.
