Melissa Inglis

Rose Litigation Lawyers

Melissa Inglis is a litigation partner with Rose Litigation Lawyers, where she has a strong focus on building and construction disputes. She acts for developers, builders, and subcontractors in complex adjudication and contractual matters, bringing sharp commercial judgment and a reputation for achieving remarkable outcomes under pressure. In 2024, Melissa was recognised as a finalist in the Women of the Year Awards, an accolade she credits to her mentorship and leadership of women working in a largely male dominated industries throughout her career (both the law and the construction sector), having now seen female participation in construction increase by 34% and female lawyers increase by 67% in the last decade.

Karen Muras

Dandelion Safe Homes

Karen Muras is the founder of Dandelion Safe Homes Ltd, a Charity and building company purposed to equip, empower and train women in escaping domestic and family violence situations. Part of the organisation is building tiny homes to provide an affordable housing option for these women. Train, empower, and develop affordable housing options to create and new start for women and families.

Part of Dandelion Safe Homes’s mission is for their factory to build Modular and Tiny homes for emergency and long-term housing and to sell commercially to enable the charity to be self funded.
