Whether you’re a first-year apprentice or are fully qualified, onsite or office based, supplier or manufacturer, Built Different provides an avenue to meet like-minded people, share your experiences, learn from others and build a future together.
The inaugural WA Built Different Barefoot Bowls Tournament sundowner is the perfect way to get 2023 rolling with a social gathering, BBQ and beverages, and a friendly bowls competition to get your competitive juices flowing on a sunny March evening.
Light on formalities, this event is a chance for you to gather with peers from across the industry, catch up with friends, make new contacts, and chat about the year to come as you roll a few balls.
Play in the social competition in teams of four or choose to simply watch with a drink and BBQ and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the historic North Perth Bowls Club.
Monique Juratovac
Owner, MJ Bricklaying
Monique is an award-winning bricklayer and Brick and Block Careers Western Australian ambassador. After becoming a qualified hairdresser in 2018, Monique began exploring other trades; bricklaying drew to her the most. Having completed her bricklaying apprenticeship in December 2021, Monique now runs her own bricklaying team. She continues her pursuit in inspiring men and women into trades through her passion and enthusiasm for her trade.
Ash Hiemstra
Owner, Merge Building
Owner and sole director of Merge Building, a building company specialising in residential renovations, additions and timber framed new builds. Before starting the building company, she completed her carpentry apprenticeship and continued to work as a qualified roof carpenter until taking a break from the tools to welcome her first child.
Megan Adair
General Manager – Planning, Development & Sales, Satterley Property Group
Megan Adair is the General Manager Planning Development & Sales with the Satterley Property Group and has 30 years of experience gained through senior leadership roles held with state and local government and the private sector. Megan is a Fellow of Leadership WA, a board member of Stellar Living, a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, and a member of the Planning Institute of Australia.
