Does the idea of “working the room” feel forced or inauthentic to you?
But what if building your career wasn’t about awkward small talk or forced conversations, but about creating genuine connections that work for you?
You’ve heard it before, "It’s not what you know, it’s who you know."
When it comes to the careers, leadership and the opportunities we get, it often comes down to who we know, what they know about us, and what we do after we’ve met them.
In this session, we’ll explore:
But we won’t just talk about it, we’re putting it into action.
You’ll have the chance to put these learnings to the test in a structured (but not snooze fest!) networking session. This is your opportunity to practice new techniques, make meaningful connections, and walk away with some new and real relationships that matter.
Because the best networks aren’t built through small talk about the weather or empty LinkedIn connections — they’re built when we show up with intention, curiosity, and a willingness to connect.
