HIA is proud to be working with Sustainability Victoria and the Victorian Government to bring training on designing and building energy efficient homes to builders in the Geelong area.
This 6-to-7-star Construction training will provide practical information on how to build an energy-efficient home, including:
- an overview of different types of glazing and wraps
- what causes condensation and how to avoid it
- thermal bridges and how to avoid them in construction
- an overview of different types of insulation and practical tips on ensuring best practice installation
- air tightness and ventilation.
This construction session is appropriate for all home builders.
