Dealing with Homeowner Wants and Demands
Homeowner clients often have a list of wants - some of which can be delivered, and others that leave you scratching your head and wondering – can I do this for them?
Should I let the homeowner engage some of their own trades during my project? Can the homeowner come onsite whenever they want to? Should I let them move in early even if my works are not complete?
These are just some of the common enquiries that we received from members. This session will explore a range of homeowner wants and demands, and how you might respond - with reference to HIA contracts, risk assessment and options for practical solutions.
