This MEMBERS-ONLY course aims to provide builders and their contract administrators with information about how to prepare and administer HIA residential contracts.
Attendees gain an understanding of the legislation relevant to residential contracts, rights and obligations of builders and owners, key contract terms and how to manage common contractual disputes.
Many members fall into the habit of administering contracts according to out of date practices and without properly understanding the legislation that applies. It is therefore important to ensure builders and their contract administrators are aware of the current rules to minimise the risk of costly and lengthy contractual disputes.
