The July 1st deadline for the ban on supply and installation of engineered stone products is almost upon us, and the Victorian Government has decided there will be no transition period.
If you are still working under contracts which specified engineered stone products that were signed prior to the announcement of the ban, and you need to substitute alternative products in, it's important that your business up to speed on how these changes should be handled.
At this virtual trade night, HIA’s policy and contract experts will break down the key issues for you, including what to do if substituting these products changes the price or completion timeframe of your jobs, how you should handle alterations to your contracts, and what you should be communicating with your clients.
Attendees will also get an update on the latest industry data and other regulatory issues affecting builders.
PLEASE NOTE: this virtual trade night was postponed from May 29. Anyone who purchased tickets for the May session has automatically been re-registered for this session.
