HIA is proud to be working with Sustainability Victoria and the Victorian Government to bring you training on designing and building energy efficient homes.
The 6-to-7-star Construction training will provide practical information on how to build an energy-efficient home, including:
- an overview of different types of glazing and wraps
- what causes condensation and how to avoid it
- thermal bridges and how to avoid them in construction
- an overview of different types of insulation and practical tips on ensuring best practice installation
- air tightness and ventilation
This online session is appropriate for all home builders.
This training is funded by Sustainability Victoria and the Victorian Government, there is no cost for attendees.
This training is designed and delivered by Sustainability Victoria on behalf of the Victorian Government. The 7 Star Design and Construction Training is hosted by HIA in collaboration with Sustainability Victoria and the Victorian Government as part of the 7 Star Homes program.
