The anticipated harmonisation of WA’s Work Health & Safety (WHS) legislation has come into effect March 2022.
To update members and the broader industry of changes to the legislation, HIA is delivering a one-hour training session covering the requirements for duty holders including the PCBU, Worker and Officers under the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and Work Health and Safety Regulations 2021.
This session is designed for those who hold leadership roles at the workplace and have responsibilities for work health and safety.
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to understand:
- WHS obligations of the ‘Person conducting a business or undertaking’ (PCBU)
- Officer’s due diligence requirements
- Penalties and enforcement measures
- WHS risk management
- Minimum compliance for common workplace hazards
