Hundreds of local and interstate builders came together on the 25 May at Crown Perth for the prestigious 2019 HIA–CSR Australian Housing Awards gala dinner, a showcase of some of the finest work being produced in Australia’s residential housing industry.
Presented at the HIA 2019 National Conference, the awards acknowledge the talent of builders, contractors, designers and manufacturers who plan and construct quality new homes, apartments, townhouses, renovations, kitchens and bathrooms.
Judged by industry professionals on a range of factors, including creative design and quality of workmanship, the winners were selected in 22 separate categories, with Bellevarde Constructions in NSW taking out the coveted 2019 HIA–CSR Australian Home of the Year award.
The company was also the winner of the Australian Custom Built Home award.
HIA Managing Director Graham Wolfe said the HIA–CSR Australian Housing Awards recognise the best in Australia’s residential building industry.
'HIA is committed to recognising our members who excel in building exceptional homes, kitchens and bathrooms,' he said. 'These members are reaching the highest standards in workmanship, are innovative, and pushing the boundaries with design.
'We also recognise the professional builders and business partners who are ahead of the game in customer service and business practices. All winners and finalists are congratulated; having achieved one of the highest accolades and being recognised before their industry peers.'
