The event will include live seminars and demonstrations by centre exhibitors, all day colour consultations compliments of Bristol and cooking demonstrations. You can also meet the HIA team at the ‘HIA You’re in Good Hands Stand’, with information about apprenticeship pathways, industry training and HIA Membership benefits available.
For visitors seeking expert advice, the HIA ‘Ask an Expert’ areas will feature free consultations with leading HIA members. Visitors simply need to arrive and make an appointment at the Show, but don’t forget to bring your plans, a notepad and your ideas.
The HOMESHOW has always been a family-friendly event, and this show will be no different with lots of free children’s entertainment including games, face painting, a roving magician and a special guest appearance from Bob the Builder. All your food and beverage needs will be covered with a sausage sizzle BBQ in support of HIA Charitable Foundation and a fresh coffee van onsite.
Mr Jennion said, “with the diversity of exhibitors and experts available, attendees will be able to compare an enormous range of products and services all under the one roof.“If you’re thinking of starting a project or are in the middle of one and need advice on how to proceed, the HIA Home Inspirations centre continues to be the premier destination for Hunter renovators, new home buyers and trade,” Mr Jennion concluded.

Council housing targets need review to reflect housing Victorian's want

Turning a corner: uptick in approvals a positive step toward meeting Tasmania’s housing needs
The Housing Industry Association (HIA) has welcomed the latest ABS building approvals data for Tasmania, which shows a strong monthly increase in detached house approvals.
Detached house approvals rise in July
“The volume of detached houses approved for construction nationally increased by 0.6 per cent in the month of July 2025 ahead of the 5 per cent deposit guarantee announced last week,” stated HIA Senior Economist Maurice Tapang.
