Safety - Every Job, Every Day | National Safe Work Month 2025
October is National Safe Work Month – a time to focus on creating safe and healthy workplaces across Australia.
This message is especially important in the residential building industry, where different trades and workers are on site daily. Everyone has a role to play in maintaining a safe work environment.
This month, HIA is sharing updated resources to help the industry stay informed and safe on site.
Mental health is just as vital. A mentally healthy workplace supports individuals, boosts productivity, and strengthens the whole organisation. It’s okay to ask for help, practise self-care, and check in with others.
The HIA Charitable Foundation, along with HIA’s mental health program, provides a wide range of resources to support businesses year-round in creating mentally healthy and supportive workplaces.
