Do you know about new Planning Portal fees?

The NSW Government has amended the NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Regulation 2000 to introduce a range of fees for lodging some post-consent applications, certificates and for making payments.

The Government has said that the fees are being introduced to support the ongoing maintenance and delivery of the NSW Planning Portal and the related ePlanning Digital Services.

These fees will be paid in addition to any other government or council fees and charges levied for the assessment of development applications and/or issue of certificates.

The Planning Portal fees will come into effect from Thursday 1 July 2021 and the amounts are shown in the table below:
