When should you use the Sanitary Facilities Calculator?
The Sanitary Facilities Calculator provides the required number of sanitary facilities needed in a building, including (where applicable) closet pans, wash basins, urinals, showers and baths based on building type and number of occupants.
It also helps calculate the required number of accessible unisex sanitary facilities you must provide.

How to use the Sanitary Facilities Calculator
Just select the building classification from the dropdown box and then enter the number of occupants the building is designed for. Based on this information, the calculator provides the required number of sanitary facilities, including (where applicable) closet pans, wash basins, urinals, showers and baths.
After you submit the number of building levels and banks of toilets, the calculator will calculate the required number of accessible unisex sanitary facilities.
The calculator has supporting notes sourced from NCC Volume 1 Part F4 that are provided to suit the building classification selected; A help guide is available.
The calculator is an MS Excel file created and has been designed for Excel 2013 for Windows 10.
