Psychosocial risks: your legal WHS obligations
Controlling every psychosocial hazard in your business may not be achievable. However, employers do have certain legal responsibilities to do the utmost (as far as is “reasonably practicable”) to prevent issues and protect your workers’ wellbeing under Australian law.
Each state's WHS/OHS Act mandates the inclusion of psychological health within the definition of workplace health. Some states even have particular Codes of Practice that relate to these issues.
