Lucinda Hartley 

Urban Futurist

As an urban futurist, Lucinda advises government, business, and technology leaders on innovation strategies for smart cities.

Lucinda’s work over the past decade has focused on leading innovative strategies to improving the social life of cities, now implemented in more than 10 countries. She is best known as the cofounder of urban tech company Neighbourlytics. Her work has been featured by Google, Smart Company, Qantas and UN-Habitat, Planning Ministers, MPs and major Property Developers to shape some of the world’s most significant urban renewal projects.

She was named as one of Australia’s 100 Most Influential Women by the Australian Financial Review and one of Melbourne's Top 100 Most Influential People by The Age.

Luke Van Dyck

Author, Television Presenter and HIA award-winning builder

Luke is passionate about education in the residential building sector. Whether it’s to homeowners about how to build, renovate, or maintain what is usually their single biggest investment or to builders and apprentices on the latest products available for residential homes, how to use them, and most importantly his experience in what consumers expect from a tradesman.

Luke will MC our Business Building Sessions partnered by James Hardie and talk to HIA-CSR Australian Home of the Year winning Builders Michael Lane from Lane Group (winner 2023) and Dan Syddall from Construct Central Coast (winner 2018) about their award winning builds.

 

Simon Croft 

Chief Executive Industry and Policy - HIA

Simon Croft is a leading industry expert on building codes and oversees HIA’s extensive involvement on ABCB and standards committees. He has a strong public-facing profile in the industry, having led HIA’s communications and engagement with Governments and the residential building industry on the NCC changes and broader building and energy policy matters.

 

Craig Muse

Development Director

Craig has been working within the civil engineering and property industry for over 30 years and thus has gained a sound knowledge of development infrastructure and housing.

Since 2000 Craig has been with Australand now known as Frasers Property Australia with his current role being Development Director - Infrastructure overseeing delivery of all residential land subdivision projects within Victoria.

Craig has also been a board member of HIA since 2022.

 

Adam Ferrier 

Consumer Psychologist

Adam Ferrier is a multi-award-winning advertising creative and founder of the agency Thinkerbell. He is also a leading Australian consumer psychologist, an expert brand strategist, and an authority on Behavioural Economics.

Adam is the author of two books: “The Advertising Effect” (Oxford) and "Stop Listening to the Customer" (Wiley). Adam co-hosts the potentially multi-awarding winning podcast Black T-Shirts and is a regular media commentator on Sunrise and The Project (and served his time on the panel of Gruen for 6 years). He also co-hosts the breakfast radio show #enterprisebreakfast on Disrupt Radio.

Adam will take delegates on an insightful journey to embrace evidence-based creativity - whether to buy, perform or change - through cognitive behavioural psychology, hardcore creativity, and a deep understanding of behavioural economics.

 

Will and Woody

Radio Hosts

In their debut year going National, Will & Woody topped the ratings in Sydney and Adelaide Drive and are continuing their upward trajectory going from strength to strength in a very competitive market.

Will and Woody achieved the amazing result of #1 overall Drive show nationally for the second survey of 2023 with over one million listeners. Adding momentum to the boy’s success is their growing fan base who can’t get enough of the prolific pair’s comedy sketches, humour, and bromance.

2022 saw Will & Woody join the Nine Network’s hit show Australian Ninja Warrior as co-hosts and also appeared as fan favourites on Celebrity Apprentice Australia, also on the Nine Network. In 2023 Woody was one of the top 6 contestants on Network Ten’s I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and has been a panellist on The Project.

The guys have many talents: Will’s a professional DJ and an accomplished writer who contributes to many publications including The Age and 9 Honey, while Woody was a RAW Comedy State finalist; a qualified personal trainer and marriage celebrant.
