The HIA GreenSmart® Professional course helps builders and designers apply sustainable residential building practices that are practical, efficient, and future-ready — benefiting their clients, their business, and the environment. 

HIA GreenSmart® is Australia’s original training program for sustainable home building.  This comprehensive course is tailored for both HIA members and non-members who want to:

  • Gain practical knowledge of environmentally responsible design and construction
  • Understand current energy frameworks, climate targets, and sustainability standards
  • Meet the growing market demand for greener homes and renovations
  • Demonstrate their commitment to sustainability with trusted GreenSmart accreditation
