HIA Gold Coast and Northern Rivers Chairperson
The Gold Coast and Northern NSW region has celebrated a year of excellence in the housing industry. We have seen exceptional skill and craftsmanship throughout the region, continually showcasing its ability to produce fantastic homes for clients and the community more broadly.
We are privileged to work in such a great industry, and I feel proud to be a voice to our local governments, regarding the issues facing our industry.
It is an honour and a privilege to be HIA’s Gold Coast & Northern Rivers Committee Chair, and my thanks go to everyone on our Regional Committee. We have grown throughout the year and taken on a breadth of expertise across the industry, ensuring we have a voice covering the most pressing issues we are facing.
Our region maintains a strong focus on education and training, especially for apprenticeships and small business programs. Mentoring and providing such programs is one key to ensuring a sufficient and stable labour supply for the future and supporting our next generation of building professionals.
We have plenty of exciting events planned over the year, and I look forward to attending, especially the regional awards in the latter half of the year. In the meantime, I will continue advocating for you and our industry and share some of our wins in the coming months.
