Gold Coast/Northern Rivers Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards
HIA Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom Awards provide home builders and designers the opportunity to receive recognition, and showcase their work to the broader industry. Winners and finalists not only receive extensive media promotion for their business, they also get the opportunity to promote themselves as an industry leader.
How to enter
- Choose your category - view the category choices based on your project location
- Review the photographic requirements, checklist items, conditions of entry, project price definition and winner's pathway.
- Upload all checklist items and submit before closing date.

Judging
Judging of entries will take place on-site from July to August. HIA staff will contact each entrant to provide a judging date and time. It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide details of the inspection time to the home owner.
The following categories are not judged onsite: Kitchen Design, Bathroom Design, Residential Design, Residential Interior Design and Work Health Safety.
Project price definition
Housing and Kitchen & Bathroom
- Your Project Price must reflect the entire cost of the project as viewed by the judges.
- This is inclusive of your contract price + variations + all works supplied or carried out by owner/others.
- Your project price must include GST, site works, all extras, final PC and provisional sum adjustments.
- Do not include land price and the cost of removable appliances such as fridges, microwaves, etc
- The project price of kitchen and bathroom entries must include all prime cost items such as cabinets, splashbacks, fixtures and fittings, bench-tops, trades, etc.
- Your project price determines which price category your project fits into (where applicable).

Specialised Housing

Townhouse / Villa of the Year
This award recognises excellence in the construction and design of an individual dwelling within a low-rise multiple dwelling residential project.

Apartment of the Year
