Why study with HIA

Why study with HIA

HIA is a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) that offers Nationally Recognised Training (NRT) Qualifications from Certificate I to Diploma level, specifically for those in the building and construction industry. Our courses provide practical, real-life training and professional development to further your career and support you when starting a building and construction business.

There are also over 100 short courses and workshops on offer that are designed to help you manage your business and keep you up-to-date on the latest legislation and policy changes. The recognition attained from these short courses may offer credit towards our certificate and diploma courses, should you want to further your study.

Our courses will ensure you:

  • have the right building industry qualifications
  • receive relevant and up-to-date course content that meets various levels of industry knowledge and experience
  • get access to flexible, practical and cost-effective courses
  • are recognised for your prior learning and experience
  • are supported by HIA and our community.

Unique Student Identifier (USI)

All students who enrol in nationally recognised training are required by the government to have a Unique Student Identifier (USI). Without a USI, as a training provider, we can’t issue you with any nationally recognised VET qualifications or accreditations.

Don’t have a USI? Don’t worry!

It’s easy and free to create your own USI, or HIA can do it for you. Check out the USI website to create your own.

If you need HIA to create one for you, simply fill in the form and pass it on to our training staff to take care of it.

Whether it's a Cert IV to become a builder or just building your career, HIA have a course to suit you.
